Ode to WatchersThis is inspired by RoulLetta's journal.Faves are really awesome. To me, as an artist, that means that someone really liked my worked and will probably want to see it again. Comments are (just slightly) more awesome. That means (to me) that someone was moved enough by what I did to say something. Sometimes they want to know how I did it, or the back-story, or the future of a project. People who show active interest like that... I just love them. But watchers... When some adds me to their watch list, what does that mean? It means they want more. They are assuming that I will 1) produce more work and 2) that they will enjoy it. Adding an artist to a watch list is like saying "I like what you do. I'm trusting you to do more." It's huge. I know it's easy and free to do, but when someone says "Yes, moar" to my work, it just makes me SO FREAKIN HAPPY.And here's the thing: you guys and gals don't even really know me, not in person. Peop
